What will be India playing 11 in 2019 World Cup ?
Less than a year is remaining for the World Cup 2019. These days all the teams are finalizing their teams including team India. What will be India playing 11 in 2019 World Cup? This question started arising in people minds and everyone started making their own prediction.
Team India is considered to be the No. 1 contender and favorites of this Mega Tournament. Many young talents emerged from this IPL season so, it will be very difficult to to create a good balanced team. A good balance team should have a fierce openers, strong middle order, outstanding all rounders and lethal bowlers. So, this is my predicted India playing 11.
Fierce Openers – Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan
This is the best opening duo that India have right now. Both the players had great IPL season this year. This opening duo has great understanding and rhythm with each other. From 2013, this pair is consistently scoring runs and giving a great start to the team.
This pair played together 79 innings together and scored 3444 runs with an average of 44.72. Their highest partnership in ODI is 178. So, this opening pair is irreplaceable.
Strong Middle Order – Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik
In the past, Virat Kohli had become a strong chasing machine. His performance has increased day by day. He is few runs short of 10,000 mark. He will become the fastest player to reach 10,000 club.
MS Dhoni is the best wicket keeper – batsman India had ever produced. He is the best finisher team India have right now.
Dinesh Karthik can also play the role finisher. His performance in Nidahas Trophy final against Bangladesh was exceptional. In that match he proved that he can also play a role of a finisher.
Outstanding All – Rounder
Right now, in all rounder department team India is banking upon experienced Suresh Raina and young Hardik Pandya.
Suresh Raina can be a great asset to the team as he has a tremendous experience in this format. He had played very crucial knocks for India and helped the team to sail over the victory. He is a good off-spin bowler as well.
Along with Hardik Pandya, who is a hard hitter and can score runs in a good pace. His bowling style is Right arm fast medium. In last year ICC Champions Trophy final against Pakistan, he scored fastest fifty. He broke Adam’s Gilchrist record for fastest fifty in any ICC tournament. In that match he smashed 76 runs in 46 balls. This knock came when India was 54/5 as top order crumble.
In this department India is very fortunate. As, both spinners and fast bowlers are in very good form and shape. If we talk about the spinners both Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are doing a great job. This spinning duo is known as “kul-cha“. Chahal is a right arm leg break bowler and Yadav is Slow left arm chinaman. This pair had created so much impact that Ashwin and Jadeja couldn’t find out their place in a ODI and T20I team.
Apart from these two, team India has brilliant fast bowlers as well. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah are 2 deadly fast bowlers who are performing outstandingly for the team espacially in death overs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a good right arm fast bowler. In his 1st ODI match against Pakistan, he took Mohammad Hafeez wicket on very first ball that he bowled. Kumar 1st wickets in every format (i.e T20I, ODI and Test) have all been bowled. He is the first bowler to do so.
Jasprit Bumrah is also a young right arm fast medium bowler. He came into limelight for bowling yorkers in a death overs. He bowls good yorkers in death overs by which India had won some very crucial matches. Last year against England , he bowl last over in which England needed 8 runs. He took 2 wickets in that over and just gave 2 runs. Bumrah produced excellent yorker in the last ball of that over in which England needed 6 runs to win. He was awarded Man of the Match for that magical spell.
KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur and Siddarth Kaul. These players played marvelously in domestic and IPL season this year and finds their rightful place in predicted India playing 11.
Hence, we wish BEST OF LUCK to team India for the ICC WORLD CUP 2019. This was predicted India playing 11 in ICC World Cup 2019.
