World T20 Champions West Indies had played against Rest of World XI on 31st May 2018 in Lord’s. This match had been played for a noble cause of raising money. The money will be used to re-establishment of the areas which was affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

The most thrilling match was held at the mecca of cricket, Lord’s. Meanwhile, England and Pakistan was playing  their 2nd test in England and there was doubt whether the players of these both teams will participate in this match or not. However, the speculation proved wrong & the players played for this noble cause.

First West Indies batted and put a decent score of 199 on the board. The openers gave the brilliant start and partnershiped for 50 runs. Evin Lewis played outstanding and scored 58 runs in 26 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes. Above all, Chris Gayle didn’t played upto his reputation. He scored 18 runs off 28 balls which include a single four. For the first wicket they both made 50 run partnership of 39 balls. Evin Lewis made his T20I fifty in just 23 balls.

After them Marlon Samuels and Dinesh Ramdin brutally thrash the bowlers and keep the scoreboard running. Similarly like 1 wicket, Marlon Samuels and Dinesh Ramdin partnershiped for 50 runs. Therefore, with these 2 partnership West Indies was in good position.

In response to 199, Rest of World XI was never in the game. Only Thisara Parera was the single player who scored runs. He scored 61 in 37 balls. Due to him, Rest of World XI score got upto 127 runs.

Hence, in the exiting and thrilling match the West Indies proved their dominance in the world T20 cricket by defeating Rest of World XI by big margin of 72 runs.
